I enjoy spending time with my wife and baby, listening to podcasts and sermons, learning new technologies, reading, working out, MINI motoring, Taylor guitar playing, and visiting Haiti.
Recently I've been focusing on learning more Haitian Creole and reading Koine Greek.
I am a full-stack developer. For work and for fun, I use:
I married my wife in 2013, and we live in New Jersey with our puppy. In 2016, we were blessed with a baby boy. Our son was diagnosed with a bilateral cleft lip and cleft palate after the 20 week prenatal ultrasound. We were referred to the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP), for prenatal care, testing, and ultimately for delivery. Our son has had several surgeries, chief among them was his bilateral lip repair. Later in 2017, he has his palate surgery.
God is good. He has supplied for all our needs and has been our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1).
I highly recommend the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia. We are very thankful to around the corner from the best hospital to care for our son's needs.
Since 2007, I have visited Haiti over a dozen times. I have been involved in short term church missions projects, medical clinics, and short trips to visit my friends there. I have spent two Christmases in Haiti and one New Years. I have been to weddings and funerals in Haiti. I have made many friends who I care about deeply. I was in Haiti a few days before the January 10, 2010 earthquake that devastated Port-au-Prince. Healing For Haiti is an excellent organization that I have the privilege to be a part of. We are building a hospital in the small village of Jonc-Dodin, Haiti. Our primary mission is to address and correct the lack of basic and immediate health care needs of the village and the region. Would you consider helping by giving a one-time gift? All the gifts that are donated go directly to the building project. We are a 501(c)(3) and your gift is tax deductible. Thank you for your help.
